Day 1: Arrive in the Big D

Meet your guide at your choice of DFW international airport or Love Field for transfer to your hotel. All voyagers will meet for a welcome dinner and icebreaker games.

Day 2: A Day of Peace

Honor International Peace Day with a tribute to the president who established the Peace Corps. Visit the Sixth Floor Museum, see the JFK Monument, and walk across the grassy knoll, where peace was shattered at a tragic moment in American history. Ascend to the top of the most recognizable structure of the Dallas skyline: the Reunion Tower, which was named after a European utopian project. Continue your cultural curiosity by sampling global food, music, and crafts at the International Night Festival. You'll have the option to start this day with a peaceful yoga session at the hotel.

Day 3: Bikes, Blooms, and Boats

Glide past whimsical graffiti in colorful Deep Ellum on an electric bike tour, then continue to the nearby Dallas Arboretum, one of the top botanic gardens in the world, and enjoy lunch on the terrace by the fountains. In the evening, take a sunset catamaran sail complete with a dinner picnic on White Rock Lake.

Day 4: Moguls and Mozart

Experience the oil baron lifestyle on a tram tour of the filming set for the legendary TV show, Dallas. Wander through the lavish Ewing Mansion, get a selfie next to Jock's Lincoln Continental, and even see the gun that shot J.R. You'll then have some free time to explore the quaint shops and restaurants of downtown McKinney, dubbed one of the best places to live in America. Create your own take-home masterpiece at Kelly's Art Shack, and have the opportunity to sing some karaoke while the paint dries. Finish the evening with a lovely dinner featuring a Baroque-costumed string quartet performance and a surprise from your guides.

Day 5: Rootin Tootin Cowboys

Get a behind-the-scenes look at where the Dallas Cowboys train on a one-hour peek at the life of a pro football player. After a unique lunch in Frisco, get up close and personal with some real cowboys at the Fort Worth Stockyards. Lose yourself in childlike glee finding your way through the giant cattlepen maze, savor delicious Texas BBQ, and explore the historic Billy Bob's Arena, where actual bull riding takes place. You'll even have the chance to do some line dancing and pose atop a (stationary) bucking bull.

Day 6: Segways and Spirits

Later you'll travel by air-conditioned van to Waxahachie, TX, where you'll enjoy lunch at the Southern Roots Brewing Company and tour the Munster Mansion, an unbelievable re-creation of the creepy house from the TV series The Munsters.

**A WORD ABOUT OUR MEAL POLICY: Having done quite a bit of traveling ourselves, we know that all-inclusive packages sometimes result in customers receiving food they don't necessarily want, leading to food waste and/or unhappy eaters. This is why, other than the included breakfasts and the chuckwagon dinner, our voyagers order and pay only for the food they wish to consume. Don't worry, you wont be left to navigate meal options on your own. For all lunches and dinners, you'll be taken to areas where you have a variety of options to satisfy your wallet and pallet, ordering the amount of food you wish to consume. This helps both your experience and our planet.

NOTE, by booking an Eyes of Wonder Journeys tour, you acknowledge that you agree to our terms and conditions:
